Wireless Account Manager
Position Description:
The wireless account manager converts opportunities into sales, serves as a liaison between the client and MapleNet Wireless, and maintains relationships with existing customers. This position requires a thorough and complete knowledge of IP networking.
Responsibilities:
- Initiates and manages all client communications
- Develops new client relationships
- Manages and converts leads
- Reviews all major deliverables for accuracy and conformance to MapleNet's policies and procedures
- Responds to complex and detailed requests for bid
- Coordinates with field technicians, crew leaders and field service managers for project hand-offs
- Provides regular communication between the client and team
- Reports to the National Sales Manager
Requirements:
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively
- Proven account management skills
- Proven lead development and sales skills
- Minimum of 5 years of account/project management experience
- Bachelors degree or equivalent technical training
- Extremely detail oriented
- Ability to quickly and completely understand complex technical issues
- Demonstrable technical competence (understand TCP/IP, networking, telecommunications, etc.)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Organized and self-motivated
- Knowledge of construction trades (concrete, steel work, electrical) is desirable
