ELKHART, IN, February 3, 2008- Ceragon Networks has selected MapleNet Wireless to receive its “Best VAR” award for 2007. The award is presented each year to one value added reseller in North America. This year, MapleNet was selected due to the company’s sales volume and its development of new opportunities. Ceragon’s packet microwave solutions, FibeAir® IP-MAX and IP-MAX2 are designed to provide a fast reliable Ethernet transmission solution for mobile, WiMAX, private and metro area networks. MapleNet Wireless has been actively specifying and installing Ceragon equipment since 2004.
“Ceragon has been the leading solution in our portfolio for some time now,” said Gene Cruise, President and CEO of MapleNet Wireless. “We are honored by Ceragon’s recognition of our sales efforts, and we will continue in our commitment to offering Ceragon as an innovative and powerful solution to our clients.”
Ceragon Networks presented the award during its fourth annual Strategic VAR’s Meeting at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas. Gene Crusie, Steve Carender and Michael Hutter from MapleNet Wireless attended.
MapleNet Wireless has focused its engineering and construction efforts on a number of key vertical markets, including healthcare, utilities and education. As each of these segments transition to higher capacity solutions, MapleNet Wireless has found Ceragon’s Fibeair IP-MAX2 (G) platform to be a platform that delivers low latency and on-demand bandwidth.
